Why the site was down
I’ll be brief. The site went down due to a hardware failure on the node that massiveRONIN.com resides on in the Vultr.com cloud. No further information is available for public consumption.
Will the articles and blog posts from the pre-outage site come back?
Currently, the plan is to dig up the old posts and articles and to resurrect them. However, if this does not work, my plan is to attempt to remember the subjects I covered in those articles and blog posts and recreate the content from memory.
What’s on Ronin’s Mind?
Mainly, it’s been all about getting this custom projects system working properly, rebuilding the site (especially difficult due to bringing the site back online while still rebuilding because of my wish to not leave the site in maintenance mode), continuing work on the motorcycle project, and a couple of other things that I’m just not going to share with the internet at large.
